As you know Tac*One Consulting has been conducting the Concealed Carry permit training courses at the Tanner Gun Shows in Colorado. We are going to continue that throughout 2013 and you can see a list of all of the different locations and dates on the Tanner Gun Show website.
We have been really excited about our courses at Tanner Gun Show! We are getting out there with the people in our community that have an interest in Concealed Carry. Perhaps due recent events, we are seeing a wider range of people that want to take our CCW Concealed Carry classes. For example, we have many more women that sign up. We also are seeing a wider range in age and types, from families to professionals to mothers, students, and all kinds of people all over the scope of interests. It has been very interesting to just talk to people and find out why they want to take a CCW course and what they plan to do with their newfound knowledge. Some will apply for a CCW permit, others just want the experience and comfort of knowing how to handle a weapon if they should ever need to.
We have really enjoyed the space that the Tanner Gun Show has provided. We have been holding our 3 Hour portion at The Comfort Inn and it has been a great environment for our classes. While you can register for these classes online, we do take walk-ins as well – as long as there is space. We haven’t yet sold out in advance, but space is very limited in our 6 hour class.
One thing we are starting to see is clients that take our 3 hour CCW course at Tanner Gun Shows are interested in some of our other classes too. One in particular is the Live Fire Course we offer in Longmont. Though it is not offered through the Tanner Gun Show, it has been a popular follow-up and does sell out so plan accordingly.
We understand that this is still a new, controversial area for many. While you may be interested, you may have questions or concerns. Drop us a line, let us know what’s on your mind or any questions that you may have. We would love to talk more about our classes at Tanner, or the other courses we offer. While Concealed Carry is a very familiar topic for some, it isn’t with the others. Demographics are constantly changing. It is ok if you want to chat before signing up, that’s what we are here for.
