Dignitary Protection Training
In recent years localized dignitary protection is being requested and at times required of law enforcement agencies. Our Dignitary Protection Training will prepare your team for protecting speakers and event guests of all types including political speakers, Senators & Congress Members. Topics covered will also include protecting at heated public forums and rallies.
Our Dignitary Protection Course at TAC*ONE Consulting provides the student with the necessary skills needed to excel at personal VIP & Dignitary Protection as an individual protector and in a team environment. Instruction will occur in the classroom and on a hands on operational level including role playing scenarios in all aspects of Dignitary Protection.

- Protective Formations from 1 man to 8 man
- Team Movement
- Introduction to Motorcade Operations
- Evacuation Maneuvers
- Close Protection Firearms
- Flying Armed
At the conclusion of the 40 hour block of training the student will be able to:
At the end of this training period, the student will be a basically-trained Dignitary Protection Agent.
He/she will be able to operate in a knowledgeable, professional manner in a VIP protective environment, ensuring that the student is a credit and an asset to himself/herself and their agency.
These proficiencies will include the following:
-Purpose, duties and assignments of protective details -Knowledge of Rings of Security and Protocol -Know what is and what makes up a protective advance -Advancing a motorcade route -Knowledge of Protective counter-measures -Knowledge of what is and how to participate in a protective movement of the VIP -How to operate and be qualified in the environment of the” Law Enforcement Officer Flying Armed” in civilian aviation -How to get one’s VIP out of harm’s way expeditiously and safely using evacuation maneuvers.-Knowledge of what a US Secret Service motorcade looks like and the make-up and position of the vehicles in case the student’s assigned VIP is involved in a Presidential/Vice-Presidential motorcade.
